This was quite an extraordinary class of 10 fencers with three members from the same family!!! Noah came first after a huge effort from Carter, who fences so correctly. Their younger brother Noah came third with Ana. What a talented family.

Ben fought hard to win this class against Aaron who was so determined. Lilly came third, then Ben O’d followed by our youngest fencer Elliott. His enthusiasm and insistance on getting it right endears him to us all.
We held our end of season competition last night. It was heart warming to see so many friends and family supporting our fencers. We were also blessed to have two of our ex-fencers coming back to referee. Many thanks to Isolde & Emily. Paul one of our fathers is always on hand to assist wherever he can. Mia a sister of two of our fencers ran the results desk with aplomb. Clare & Pippa ran the kitchen, many thanks.

Our club attended the Manor Kilbride GAA field day last week. Ronan, Thia, Ana, Lilly & Ben very kindly gave of their time to show the sport of fencing to the local community. I am very proud of them all.
Our friendly fencing club now has place for fencers or aspiring fencers who would like to join our club.
We would especially welcome adults who would like to try a different sport. Absolutely anybody can fence. Age & fitness do not matter. We have fencers from 7-60 years old. Come along on any Friday evening at 5 for 7-10, 11-15 at 6 and older at 7.30 to St Kevins Community Hall in Blessington for a free trial. Or call 0876764183 for additional information.
