⛰️ RACE REPORT – SKYRUN ERYRI 14 PEAKS ULTRA ⛰️

A huge congratulations to Boyle AC’s Ruth Candon, who took on an absolutely incredible challenge this weekend – the SkyRun Eryri 14 Peaks Ultra in the spectacular mountains of Eryri (Snowdonia), Wales. 🖤💛

This is no ordinary ultra! The 14 Peaks Ultra covers approximately 55km (34 miles) with a massive 3,900m+ of elevation gain, following the legendary Welsh 3000s route and taking runners across 14 peaks over 4.000m⛰️🏃‍♀️

Competitors face steep climbs and descents, exposed mountain terrain, technical rocky ridges and scrambling, making this a serious test of endurance, strength and determination. With a 16-hour cut-off and just two aid stations along the route, it’s an enormous undertaking from start to finish.

For Ruth to take on a challenge of this magnitude is a fantastic achievement and another example of her incredible strength and love of mountain running.

What an adventure, what a challenge and what an achievement! 👏👏👏

Massive congratulations Ruth! ⛰️💪🏃‍♀️
