First few pictures of this weekend's seminar in Sligo. It was great to meet up with students from Seung Fu martial arts (Netherlands) and Green Dragon martial arts (Ennis, Ireland). We had 6 hours of training and finished with a buffet and social at the Panda restaurant.

I've been preparing some extra sticks for the spear workshop this weekend, just in case... For reference there's a raw stick (hazel) and one whittled down. The rest are sanded and straightened up by steam bending (getting to the last tweaks now). Then a few layers of protective oil and optionally a spear head (though safer to let the beginners practise without!) It's getting there.
