With my roots from the birthplace of yoga, Asana practice was such a personal episode in my life. When I moved to the west and continued my practice, I found the world of a difference in how approachable and accessible Asana and Meditation are, to any of us. This then inspired me to take my practice to the next level, and that is to share. I completed my Power Vinyasa 200 Hr Teacher Trainnig at wh

🌚Maybe the reason Yin is calling you has very little to do with becoming a yoga teacher.

Maybe you're simply tired of being switched on all the time.

🌚Tired of rushing.
🌚Tired of holding everything together.
🌚Tired of feeling like even your rest needs to be productive.

This is one of the reasons I love Yin so deeply.

Because Yin isn't just about the shapes we practise on the mat. It invites us to explore a different relationship with effort, stillness, discomfort, time and rest.

And when you begin to understand the practice more deeply, something shifts.

Learn Yin so deeply that it changes how you move through your own life, and if it calls, you will even learn how to hold space for ones that navigate their life too !

☯️Yin Within, an immersive 50-hour CPD Yin Yoga Teacher Training.

As modern a practice Yin Yoga is, it draws heavily from the ancient wisdom and lived experience of the Daoists. We will weave in Daoist philosophy, Qi Gong (energy work), and explore the subtle pathways,

This training will help you feel the richness of being still because Yin isn’t just slow yoga: it’s a deep invitation inward. Physiologically Yin reaches directly into your fascia, meridians, and energetic pathways in the body, calling for a complete rest and digest state.

Very importantly you will learn how to hold spacious, supportive, transformative space for yourself and for others through embodied practice and self-study. You will build confidence, skill on how to have a heart-centered presence.

Whether you’re a yoga teacher or a dedicated practitioner, this is an opportunity to step deeper into stillness. Join me, I can’t wait to practice with you.

41 !!!!! 💞❤️

This year went so REAL ! Doesn't life really begin at 40 ?

A year that's taught me to EMBRACE reality. SITTTTT with what is. These were all concepts a decade ago when I began the work.

Depression isn't something that can be cured. It takes a separate level of awareness to face it, to come to terms with it and then walk over it to live life that keeps lifing !

Happiness isn't hard to find. It's really in the little things, it's in the moments of NOW. It's when my friends can see me get the most silliest and still show up for me the next morning. It's when students resist listening to meh cos it's "boring" or it's just not their stream of work, YET, THEY come back to me because of the essence what I teach. It's when my husband changes sheets right before I come back from travel so I can get into your bed and have that sleep cuddling with the munchkins that I Ve longed to be with, smothered in guilt, yet trying to be present to the work I signed up for. It's when a co-teacher is no more a co-teacher but is able to hold your hand and sleep when we are in a retreat.

40 has been a hard one. To BE THE VILLAGE is freaking no joke ! To play the role of a daughter sitting so far away. To be a mother (I Ve worked a lot on mum guilt so I am manageable there) , and showing up for kids as a mum and a grand mother, an aunt, all these multiple roles mess with my mental health SO MUCH. Of course we are all able to do this when our selves boundless LOVE comes from within, to show up ! But I have somehow loved this pain. This pain has taught me to peel through, to power through, to soften, to cry endlessly and find satisfaction in that, to roar, to say NO ! To reflect, to confront. I am becoming... Becoming more and more unfiltered.

Happy BECOMING birthday to me !
Sending blessings and gratitude to all of you beautiful souls that made my day. You are all my ASSET. That keeps me live life, face life, roar with it and get silly with it !

Blessings on Guru Purnima. 🌕 🌺 ✨

Guru Purnima is traditionally celebrated as Vyasa Purnima, honouring Sage Vedavyasa, one of the greatest gurus in our tradition. He compiled the four Vedas, authored the Mahabharata, from which we receive the beautiful teachings of the Bhagavad Gita, and compiled many of the Puranas. His contribution to preserving and sharing wisdom is why we honour him on this day.

From the yogic tradition, Guru Purnima is also the day when Adiyogi Shiva first transmitted the science of yoga to the Saptarishis, the seven great sages, who then carried these teachings to different parts of the world.

This full moon symbolises completeness, clarity and illumination. It reminds us of the light of knowledge that dispels ignorance.

Today is an opportunity to honour the principle of the Guru, not just as a person, but as the wisdom that has been passed from one generation to another. It may have come through your grandmother, your mother, your family traditions, your teachers, your mentors, or through the practices that have shaped your life. Every person and every experience that has brought you closer to truth is worthy of gratitude.

Today, I'm taking a moment to honour my own teachers. Never did I imagine that I would one day have the privilege of sharing this vast and profound tradition of yoga with others. I have been incredibly fortunate to be guided by inspiring and impactful teachers every step of the way. To now be able to transmit even a small part of this wisdom is an honour that I never take for granted.

So today, I offer my pranams to all my teachers and to the lineage that continues to guide us.

Take a few moments today to sit quietly. Set a sankalpa and offer gratitude for the teachers, the experiences, the traditions and the wisdom that have shaped who you are.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Happy Guru Purnima.

To my Grandmother,
My parents
My teachers from school,
To Iyengar school
