Every class is an opportunity to improve a technique, strengthen focus and build confidence. Progress in Taekwon-Do comes through consistent effort, thoughtful feedback and a willingness to keep learning. What is one goal you are working towards this month?

November brings important opportunities to compete, learn and prepare for the next stage of your Taekwon-Do journey. The National Championships and Irish Cup take place on 7–8 November, followed by the National Technical Seminar on 22 November. Black Belt Degree Grading is scheduled for 6 December. Save the dates, check the official event information and speak with your instructor about preparation.

October has showcased the breadth of ITA Taekwon-Do: international competition, female participation, leadership development, club support and preparation for the events ahead. Thank you to the instructors, students, parents, coaches, officials and volunteers who continue to contribute to our community. We look forward to the final months of 2026 together.

For students working towards Black Belt Degree Grading, December may feel a long way away — but meaningful preparation takes time. The National Black Belt Grading takes place on 6 December at Mitchelstown Community Centre. The work being done in the club now is part of that journey.

Grading preparation is about more than remembering techniques. Students should work on accuracy, understanding, physical readiness, etiquette and the ability to perform consistently under pressure. Regular attendance and constructive feedback from instructors help students arrive at grading opportunities prepared and confident.
