Soccerfest 24 at Phoenix Park today brought communities together with happiness, friendship, solidarity and diversity as the days are getting gloomier and colder.
The Rohingya team had a wonderful tournament reaching to the quarter finals. The team dues its thanks to players from DR Congo, Nigeria, Somalia and Afghanistan who joined and played with the Rohingya boys.
Many thanks to SARI Ireland, organisers and every volunteers to make the 26th Annual Soccerfest a successful tourament for everyone who calls Ireland their home.

A day for local and resettled communities to come together and play the beautiful sports in celebration of diversity.

SARI Sportsfest is taking place at Phoenix Park, Dublin on Saturday, September 14.
The bus will leave Carlow from Woodie’s car park at 9am. Any Rohingya players and supporters who want to join the team are welcome.

Rohingya Football Club Ireland participated at Carlow Integrated Soccer Blitz organised by Carlow Garda Síochána, Carlow Sports Partnership and Carlow FAI on April 13.
The tournament was to promote and celebrate the inclusiveness and diversity in Carlow, the town the Rohingya community calls home. The boys from the Rohingya community enjoyed the beautiful game despite observing fasting during the month of Ramadan, and interacted with the diverse communities from Carlow.
