What can I say, after 15 years training and helping teach every night, Tom made the journey to dragons lair kilkenny to have a crack at his first dan black belt, and fair play he done an awesome job displaying his year of knowledge and resilience, after a mammoth eight hours on the mat, under the watchful eye of some of the finest master grades in traditional Japanese jiu jitsu, congratulations all at carlow dragons lair are very proud of the job you done. And I would like to thank all at dragons lair kilkenny for the hospitality and giving up there time for the day.....and all the snickers and fizzy rings 🙂

That time of the year again, when one of our students is chosen as samurai of the year, and receives the marky Purcell memorial cup. And this dude is is a worthy recipient. All year he gave every day on the mats all he had, and even when things went wrong he showed what it means to be a real martial artist and worked until he got it right, congratulations Able, your the man🥋🥋

Well folks, were back for our winter term this monday night kids from 6.30 to 7.30 and adults 7.30 to 9PM, we have spaces in both classes if your interested drop me a message, time to get off that couch😁

We will be running a 6 week traditional Japanese jiu jitsu introduction class for adults starting on Monday may 9th. Basic jiu jitsu that anyone can do, and also improving fitness too. You must be over 16 to do this class, always fancied doing a martial art??? Come down and have a go!!

Today is a very sad day for Carlow dragons lair jiu jitsu club, we have lost Marky Purcell, who was a member of our club for many years, always first there help the kids and club in any way he could, and enjoyed every min of his time with us. We will be forever heartbroken, but so very proud to have stood in battle with you........sayonara my friend💔💔

Hi everyone, we are getting close to reopening our doors again🙈 and not a minute too soon, if you are a teenager or adult that would like to try out feel free to dm me and get your name down, unfortunately our kids class are full and at present are not in a position to accept any new students!

Can anyone explain to me why nearly all sports and gyms are closed but the gaa can still continue to play matches?? Am I missing something 🤔🤔
