What’s in your veg box this week? 🌱 One of the things we like the most about eating seasonally is the fact that we don't always know exactly what we'll be taking home. Our Lisnavagh veg boxes change with the garden, depending on what is ready to harvest each week.
We usually pick the vegetables when they are ready to go 🍅🥬 so your box is a selection of what is currently growing well in the Walled Garden bringing you more fresh, locally grown vegetables into your kitchen while supporting the work that goes into maintaining our Walled Garden and growing food in tune with the seasons.
We are now offering two sizes to choose from, medium and large, making it easy to find a box that suits your household and the amount of fresh vegetables you like to cook with each week 🥕🥬
We can send your veg box nationwide with a next day delivery order by ordering yours through the link in our bio. You can also collect it on Fridays at our Farm Coffee Shop which is now open every Friday from 9am to 4pm.
Come and see what's growing this week, pick up your vegetables and stop for a coffee and a homemade treat 😋

Take time out to enjoy some hands-on experience with our market gardener and permaculture teacher, Andrew Jordan in the Lisnavagh Walled Garden where you will discover the methods used for crop management, sowing for winter season and how to deal with gluts of produce and more.
Join us on Saturday, 29th August! Together you'll explore how we manage crops throughout the year, prepare for the winter growing season through timely sowing, and discover creative ways to make the most of periods of abundance when the garden produces more than you can use 😋
Along the way, there will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions, get your hands in the soil, and gain ideas you can take home and apply in your own growing space.
As always at Lisnavagh, the day is as much about slowing down and enjoying the surroundings as it is about learning. “Silence is not the absence of something, rather the presence of everything”. We are happy to invite you to a new edition of our The Gift of Silence retreat with Abbie
In Laura’s words, “Silence has been one of my greatest teachers. During a period of solitude in the mountains of Nepal, I spent eight days in complete silence and isolation. Without distraction, the noise of the world faded, and in that stillness, life began to speak in a new language. What I discovered was profound: layers of gratitude rising to the surface, clarity unfolding where confusion once lived, and a deeper sense of peace that felt both ancient and alive”.
In the quiet, she began to understand that silence isn’t empty, it’s full of answers. It holds the whisper of truth, of connection to nature, to the wisdom of the heart. “When you can bear your own silence, then you are free.”
This retreat at Lisnavagh is an invitation to explore that same freedom. We’ll begin and end our time together with gentle connection and community, but the heart of the retreat will be a journey inward: a space to rest in silence, to listen deeply, and to return to your own ānanda — your inner joy and peace.
🧘🏽♀️ This retreat is for someone who:
• Needs a break and some time away to reset
• Seeks to go a little deeper into a meditation practice
• Needs to reduce stimulation/ dopamine detox
• Seeks creative inspiration
• Open to trying a new experience
