We are happy to share with you that our Lisnavagh Christmas Market 2026 is coming, and we would love you to join us for a festive weekend in our Garden Wing ✨🎄

Our Christmas Market brings together a lovely variety of local makers, independent businesses and homemade stalls, with plenty of thoughtful gifts, seasonal treats and unique finds to help you get started with your Christmas shopping 🎁

📅 When and where?

Saturday 5th & Sunday 6th December from 10am to 5pm in the Garden Wing of Lisnavagh House (Rathvilly, Co. Carlow).

Stop by the Lisnavagh Café in the Garden Wing for a warming drink, a tasty toasty or a homemade cake and take your time enjoying the surroundings. You can also explore our beautiful gardens and woodland walks while you’re here. 🍂

🎟️ Free entry and free parking.

🐕 Dogs are welcome on leads.

If you are looking for something different this year, this is a wonderful opportunity to discover handmade and sustainable gifts created with care, support local makers and choose something thoughtful for those ones you love ❤️

Autumn is here and the Walled Garden is still full of fresh produce 🥬🍂🍆

Our fresh veg boxes are filled with vegetables harvested from our own Walled Garden without chemicals or pesticides 🌱 This is our way of working: respecting nature’s rhythms and bringing seasonal, fresh and delicious garden-grown straight to your kitchen.

🍅 Order your veg box online and enjoy fresh, seasonal vegetables at home. With medium and large boxes available you can choose the option which suits your needs.

☕ You can also make a Friday visit to Lisnavagh part of your weekly routine! Our Farm Coffee Shop is open every Friday from 10am to 4pm, where you can pick up fresh vegetables and other local and homemade produce.

Take your time, enjoy a cup of coffee and a delicious homemade treat, head out for a gentle walk around the gardens and soak up the colours and atmosphere of autumn — a simple way to welcome the season 🍁

A glimpse of what happened during the 2026 edition of Hidden Hearth 🔥🫂🍁

A weekend of music, movement, creativity and connection. There was space to slow down and let it go, try something new, explore, dance among the trees, meet new people and simply be present.

The combination of live music, thoughtful conversations, nourishing food and time in nature created a weekend which made us feel energised and grounded, allowing us to enjoy many different experiences together in one place ❤️

But what we liked the most was the sense of community that made it special 💫 people arriving as they were, sharing experiences and leaving with new connections, fresh perspectives and (we hope!) a little more space to breathe 🧘🏼‍♀️

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came, performed, facilitated, created, cooked and helped bring Hidden Hearth back to life. And thank you for filling Lisnavagh’s woodlands with such a wonderful spirit 🧚🏻

A look back at our Autumn Seasonal Feast 🍂🍁

Last Thursday, we welcomed guests for an evening centred around the Walled Garden, seasonal produce and good food. The evening began with a tour of the garden with Santina Kennedy and Andrew Jordan, exploring what was growing at this point in the season and sharing some insight into how we work with the garden throughout the year.

We then had the chance to hear from William Bunbury a glimpse into the history of Lisnavagh and the Bunbury family, connecting the Walled Garden food, woodlands and gardens with the much longer story of the estate, having been in the Bunbury family since 1702!

Afterwards, we gathered in the Garden Wing for Steve Mercer’s seasonal feast, bringing together freshly harvested produce from the Walled Garden together with locally sourced ingredients. A relaxed meal, good conversation and a chance to enjoy the work of the garden from a different perspective - at the table.

This new edition of our Seasonal Feast was a nice opportunity to bring people together around the garden and the table, and to share a little more about where our food comes from and how it makes its way from the soil to the plate. Thank you to everyone who joined us, and to Santina, Andrew and Steve for being part of the afternoon 💚

We’re already looking ahead to the festive season and are inviting makers, growers, artists, food producers and independent businesses to join us for another Christmas Market at Lisnavagh!

Our market is all about bringing together a wonderful mix of locally made, seasonal and thoughtfully crafted products - the kind of things that make Christmas shopping feel a little more personal 🥰

This October Hidden Hearth is returning to Lisnavagh inviting you to gather, reconnect and celebrate the creative energy within us 🔥

From 9th–11th October our woods, gardens and spaces will come alive with music, movement, conversations, creativity and wellbeing. Across the weekend, there will be live music and DJs, yoga, meditation, dance, talks, workshops, crafts, wholesome food and plenty of opportunities to simply spend time together around the fire 🎶

Hidden Hearth is about creating space for genuine connection with ourselves, with others and with the land around us. There will be quiet moments to pause and recharge alongside the energy of the dancefloor, with the beautiful Lisnavagh woodlands providing the backdrop.
