🇮🇪 TEAM IRELAND – ADAM MEGHEN 🇮🇪
Adam will represent Ireland at the IFMA Youth World Championships in Olympia, Greece, competing in U16 -45kg.

He is just 14 years old and has been training with us for nearly 3 years.
Adam is one of those kids who is always looking for the next challenge. He has never turned down a fight, and when an opportunity comes, he wants it 💯
By far one of the most naturally talented young fighters we’ve had come through the gym, but what makes him stand out even more is the work ethic to match that talent.
Already an European Amateur Champion and Irish IMO Champion, Adam has achieved both titles competing under full rules with headshots — and he is still only 14.
Now comes another massive step in his journey… representing Ireland on one of the biggest youth Muay Thai stages in the world.
We’re very proud to have Adam wearing the Irish colours in Greece and we can’t wait to see what he brings to the World Championships.
Hard work. Talent. No fear of a challenge.
Olympia next 🇮🇪 🇬🇷

Few pics from the South Dublin Muay Thai Academy interclub today, one of the lads missing from the photos but he was definitely present 😂

All did well and no losses which is always nice.

Thanks to Ronan for matching them, onto the next one 🙌

Another late one but it's been a crazy 2 weeks.

Krystian Kopczyński who's been with us since he was an annoying kid has grown tremendously into an annoying teenager, is leaving for sligo in pursuit of rugby. Of course we begrudgingly wish him the best 😂 lots of memories over the years and we're delighted to be a part of his journey and watch him grow. All the best young man.

Szemendrey zoé🇭🇺 joined us over 2 years ago to improve her striking for MMA and with her fantastic attitude she was always going to succeed, we watched her improve every step and we are delighted to have been a part of that. We wish you the very best in the future and we hope you fall into a rhythm in Hungary. Also thanks to Oliver Sz for one of the most enjoyable BBQs we've had in a long time 😂

All the best guys and thanks for your trust over the years

The hardest working fighter we've met and an absolute pleasure to coach.

Adam has been training with us a few years now and takes everything in that he's been shown and puts it to use exactly as intended.

Waiting lists are live again for the club. Get in touch to find out more.

Bit of a delay on this one but congrats to our fighter who won the junior Irish title on the show over the weekend.

Adam had a great fight with a game opponent from DTB over 5 rounds with headshots.

Thanks to the lads for matching him and onto the next.

We've nearly reached capacity again in our kids and teenagers classes.

The summer is a great time to get started as it's the quieter time of the year and we take a bit of a break from competition.

We fill up very quickly in September.

Tradition, understanding and respect.

Some of the small details that define Muay-Thai as a sport and a community. These are the moments we remember and appreciate the most, the little moments in between the madness. Months and years of preparation for a few minutes here and there.
