⚽️ UNDER 12 BOYS – 3 TEAMS IN ACTION! ⚽️
Another busy Friday night for our Under 12 boys, with all three teams taking on Ballina and producing three great games of football. 👏⚽️

🔵 A TEAM – Beleek
Our A team came up against a very well-drilled Ballina squad in Beleek. The lads battled hard right to the final whistle, led by captain Mark Byrne, with a consolation strike from Man of the Match Levi Mannion.

🔵 C TEAM – Celtic
Our C team went down fighting in Celtic in a really enjoyable game. Ballina opened the scoring early, but Celtic hit back with a fantastic individual goal from Yazan. Celtic found themselves 2-1 down at the break, but credit to the lads for fighting their way back into the game.
Captain Illia, debutant Alex, and a late consolation penalty from Man of the Match Dylan all played their part in a great effort from the team. 👏

⭐ GAME OF THE NIGHT – B TEAM ⭐
Under the lights in the Cas Arena, our B team produced a fantastic 5-3 win over Ballina B.
Celtic started brilliantly, with Captain Fantastic Jack O’Brien bossing the midfield, while goals from Mogtaba and Derek put Celtic in control.
Two Ballina goals either side of half time had Celtic on the back foot, but Jayden restored Celtic’s lead. Driven on by Man of the Match Roman, Celtic looked to have done enough to take the points.
Huge credit to Ballina, though, as they found an equaliser with just seven minutes remaining.
Celtic dug deep, driven on by Fionn and Jack, and two late strikes from Derek sealed a fantastic 5-3 victory, sparking wild celebrations! 🥳🔵

And a special mention to Celtic’s biggest supporter, Wil O’Brien, who joined in the team celebrations at the final whistle! 💙😂
👏 Huge thanks to Fran, Daniel, David and all our friends in Ballina for three great games.
And of course, thanks to all the parents, coaches, players and referees at both venues for making it another brilliant night of Under 12 football.

These girls were in a tight battle this eve in a top of the table clash with Claremorris AFC in the u14 Premier league. Celtic had a narrow 4-3 victory in the previous tie and this one was equally as entertaining. Castlebar Celtic F.C took a two nil lead this eve. Elsa Reilly went on a great run through the midfield and buried her shot in the top corner. Sophie Slabik scored the other and took her chance really well. Claremorris came back into it at and got two goals to equalise it and this is how it finished. We lost Eadaoin and Aimee at halftime through injury and we wish them a speedy recovery. Best of luck to Iris, Megan, Siofra and Anna as they start Secondary School tomorrow. Well done to both teams this eve 👏.
