🚴 Cycling events are coming up – is your bike ready?
Now that the kids are back at school, for many of you, that means you can get back on the bike! 🚴♀️🚴♂️
With several cycling events coming up over the next few weeks, it’s a good idea to give your bike a little attention before you hit the road.
So take a few minutes to check:
🔧 Brakes – are they working properly?
🛞 Tyres – check the condition, tread and pressure.
🪑 Saddle – make sure it’s secure and at the right height.
⚙️ Gears & chain – make sure everything is running smoothly.
💡 Lights – check they’re working, charged and ready to go. Even if you’re not planning to ride after dark, you never know when a dull or overcast day might make you less visible
A few minutes of checking now could save you a lot of hassle later. And if your bike needs some TLC get in touch – happy to help get you road-ready! 🔧

🚴 Race to Glory is coming up this weekend! 🚴
Now is the perfect time to give your bike and equipment a thorough check before event day.
✔️ Check your bike is in good condition and roadworthy:

•Gears shifting smoothly
•Chain is clean and lubricated
•Bolts are secure
Don't forget to check your helmet, shoes and any other kit you'll be using.

What an amazing day I had last Sunday in beautiful weather, cycling around mayo to all our golf clubs remembering my dad and raising much needed funds for The Order of Malta and Community First Responders.
The generosity of people knows no bounds so to every person, couple and family who donated in any way I am truly grateful and I will let everyone know what was raised in the coming weeks.
To everyone who joined me along the way, to the golf clubs who were so accommodating, to my helpers on the day, you were absolutely brilliant and made my day so much easier, to everyone who turned out at Castlebar golf club to cheer me home, all I can say is a huge THANK YOU to everyone from the bottom of my heart for making it an a day to remember.

Thank you to Tommy Marren Midwest Radio for allowing me to discuss the challenge I am undertaking this weekend in memory of my dad.
The support has been overwhelming, and any expectations I had for the funds that might be raised have been far exceeded. Thank you to everyone who has supported the fundraiser – I am truly grateful.
Please keep sharing the page and helping to spread the word. On Sunday, I hope to be able to link this page to a live feed so that you can follow my journey as it unfolds.
Thank you again for all your kindness, generosity, and encouragement. It means more than words can express.

I’ve been absolutely blown away by the support everyone has shown since I launched this fundraiser. It’s not just the donations that have meant so much, but also the countless offers of help, encouragement, and support for the day itself.
I can’t thank you all enough. Your kindness and generosity have been incredible.
So, let’s keep the wheels turning! Please continue to share the fundraiser and help raise awareness of this unique (and probably one-of-a-kind!) challenge. Every share, conversation, and contribution makes a difference.
Thank you all for being part of this journey 🚴♂️🏌🏼♂️

Father’s Day is fast approaching, and on this special day I will be taking on a challenge in memory of my dad while raising funds for the amazing volunteers of the Castlebar Community First Responders and the Castlebar Order of Malta.
The care, compassion, and support they showed my dad and our family on the day of his passing will never be forgotten. Their kindness meant more than words can express.
This is my way of giving something back while helping them continue the vital work they do in our community every day.
Any donation, support, or share would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your kindness and support.
