A great day at Mayo Leisure Point welcoming the 1st year students from St Joseph’s Secondary School Castlebar and St. Gerald's College . 🎳

The students from St Joseph’s started their visit with breakfast and Bowling, followed later by 97 1st year students from St Gerald’s for Bowling and lunch.

Starting secondary school can be a big day and sometimes a nervous one too, so it was lovely to see everyone getting the chance to mingle, chat, compete and have some fun together away from the classroom.

A brilliant way to help new classmates get to know each other and settle into the year ahead.

Thanks to both schools for spending part of the day with us.
