MENS BEGINNER/IMPROVER NIGHT!

OUR SEASON IS BACK and we are kicking off first with our Men’s Club night at Castlebar Racquetball Club from MONDAY SEPT 7TH

The sessions are open to all. New players welcome and no experience needed. All equipment will be provided.

Our regular players looking to improve are encouraged to also join as we will be giving tips from our experienced players and coaches.

We’re back with a new season of racquetball and a full calendar to kick off this September! Castlebar Racquetball Club is excited to welcome all our members back for another year of fun!

💫Club night for Beginners & Improvers
Monday 07th Sept
8.15pm to 10pm

💫Junior Racquetball Coaching begins
Thurs 24th Sept
6.00pm - 8.30pm

💫Womens Club Night begins
Monday 28th Sept
6.30pm - 8.15pm.

💫Club leagues will begin mid October. Keep an eye on Facebook and the Club WhatsApp group.

We welcome new players all year round so why not pick up a racquet this September and give it a go! All levels and ages welcome!

Sending our condolences to the family and friends of John F Burke who was the former manager of the Lakeside Centre in Ballinrobe.

John F was great supporter of the sport of racquetball.

What a way to finish the season 🏆👏

Last Friday night saw the finale of our Team League season at Castlebar Racquetball Club, with Team Z, led by Kevin Jennings, coming out on top after an incredibly close battle with Team D, captained by Brian Flannery.

After the teams finished level on points, the title came down to total match points won — with Team Z edging victory in a thrilling 290 to 282 points to finish! 💪🔥

It’s been a fantastic season filled with plenty of competitive matches, great craic, lots of new faces and the welcome return of many familiar ones.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part throughout the season. We’re already looking forward to welcoming even more new players when we return in September 🎾

🏆2026 Team League Winners 🏆

Team Z are the winners of the 2026 Team League. The match with Team D went down to the final game. AS a result both teams were on 12 points each. On the count back of points scored in all the games, Team Z won by a mere 8 points.

Our team league semi-finals take place on Tuesday, evening May 12th and Wednesday evening,May 13th at the courts in An Sportlann.
