Virginia Handball Club - Cavan

We're so proud of our Féile na nGael team who reached the final at Clough-Ballacolla in Co Laois on Saturday last, losing a close decider against a very strong Naomh Éanna team from Antrim.
Congrats to Daithi Whitaker, Oisin France, Sean Harney, Conor Doughty and Adam Lettis who all played very well throughout the competition.
There was no Division 1 grade this year for the first time in the 40-year history of the handball Féile which meant Division 2 was the top grade in the country so our lads took silver in the highest grade. All are underage again next year and four of the five have two more years' eligibility.
Well done to all and thanks to the host club; well done also to Naomh Éanna on winning the final.

Congratulations to Niamh O Reilly of Cuchulainns Community Games who just won 4th place in the U13 Girls Handball National Finals.
