Next piece of news is The Match Play Final has been finalized.

David Gorey beat Alan Phelan 2&1. Very close match with Alan turning the screw but missing a tricky down hill putt on 17th to give David victory.

The Final is #1 David Gorey v Christy Carey. Its gonna be one tough match up... But who will Win???

Well here's the latest news and results of recent competitions. Congrats to everyone who took part in Ladies Day 2014....

The Paddy Gorey Trophy was won by
Anthony O Connor, who played some amazing golf. 5 Birdies in his round! 35 pts
2nd Christy Carey 34 pts
3rd David Gorey 32 pts (best gross score)

We also had a big number for Ladies Day this year with 16 couples woo hooo. Thanks to the folks who came from dear old IBM :)

The weather stayed dry... (for once) and all the Ladies loved the
prizes!!

We also had our First Lady Hole in 1 ever!!! Congrats go to Margaret Delahunty, who goes down in the history books and folklore.

Margaret Delahunty and Anthony O Connor also won ladies day (57), beating Mark and Jenny Doyle (by 1 shot). Ooooo so tight!!!

Thanks again to everyone for participating. It was a great, fun day, hopefully 2015 will bigger and better :D Photos are on the way

Now on to the most up to date comp. Captains Day woooo hooo. thanks to all for competing in this years Captains Day. It was on in Lough Owel Mullingar with over night stay in Bloomsfield hotel!

Unfortunately for the first time ever Captains Day had to be cut short to 27 holes due in the space of 30 mins, Thunder, Lightning, Hail Stones, Lashing rain and oh did I mention the course got flooded. Yup yup, I for one wasn't getting electrocuted :D
