We strive to provide a nurturing environment for all our students, encouraging them to reach their potential whilst having a lot of fun. Our classes are structured in a relaxed format with exams available for those students who want them from the 'Irish Board of Dance Performance'. The IBDP is an Irish-based dance examining body offering performance-based, encouraging and child-centred exams. We aim to inspire confidence and expression through dance for all our students.

Our young dancers had so much fun exploring music, movement and imagination with Katie. It was wonderful to see everyone joining in, making new friends and growing in confidence. ✨

Our Acro Arts Class 3 has spaces available for children aged 7–15 who would love to develop their skills, strength and confidence in a safe, supportive class.

Students work on:

• Strength, flexibility and balance
• Controlled Acro technique and combinations
• Body awareness and safe movement habits

After celebrating her wedding to Darragh and returning from a wonderful honeymoon, Katie is refreshed, excited and ready to begin a very special new teaching year—her first as Mrs Gaffney! 💍

Although her surname has changed, the passion, encouragement and commitment she brings to every KMDS class remain exactly the same.

Katie cannot wait to welcome all our returning dancers back, meet the children joining us for the first time and begin another year filled with confidence, progress and fun.

We’ve had a wonderful response to our September Ballet programme. Our Baby Ballet and Primary Ballet classes in Tubbercurry, along with Primary Ballet in Castlebar, are now fully booked.

For older dancers, places are still available in St Brigids Hall Tubbercurry:

🩰 JUNIOR BALLET

Both classes help dancers develop stronger technique, musicality, confidence and performance quality through supportive, progressive teaching.

TUBBERCURRY ACRO — A PLACE TO START AND GROW St Brigids Hall🤸‍♀️

Our beginner Acro class gives children aged 4–6 a fun, supportive introduction to acrobatics.

Children work progressively on:

⭐ Balance and coordination
⭐ Strength and flexibility
⭐ Safe rolls, shapes and beginner skills
⭐ Confidence, independence and body awareness

As their skills develop, dancers can continue progressing through KMDS Acro Classes 2 and 3—building strong foundations at every stage.

🌟 BEGINNERS 1
