Clonakilty Waterfront Marathon

Today, on the 104th anniversary of his death, we remember Michael Collins, who was killed at Béal na Bláth on 22 August 1922.
We were proud to dedicate our Clonakilty Waterfront Marathon XII medal to him, featuring his image and the words:
“In my opinion it gives us freedom, not the ultimate freedom that all nations desire... but the freedom to achieve it.”
We remember his life, his legacy and his enduring place in Irish history.
