U13C Championship – Round 3 💚🤍🏑
Our Clonea U13 girls welcomed Ballyduff Upper to Clonea GAA Grounds on Sunday for Round 3 of the U13 C Championship.
Ballyduff Upper got off to a flying start, racing into an early 1-2 lead. Clonea settled into the game and got their first point in the 12th minute, sparking a fantastic spell of play from the girls.
Clonea battled their way back and went into half-time with a one-point lead, in what was proving to be a hugely competitive and closely fought encounter. There was very little between the two sides, with both teams giving it everything.
Ballyduff Upper came out strongly after the break and enjoyed their own spell of dominance, but our Clonea girls showed their trademark “NEVER SAY DIE” attitude and fought their way right back into the contest. 💚🤍
Clonea kept battling until the very end and came within just one point of Ballyduff Upper, but unfortunately time ran out before they could complete the comeback.
A great effort from the entire Clonea panel, who showed teamwork and fighting spirit from start to finish.
