Last night the women’s Tipperary County Team (National league winners for the 3rd year in a row) were treated to dinner at the Horse and Jockey hotel - by the TipperaryCounty Board - Clonmel AC were represented by Ludmila, Cara, Emer and Niamh.
Thank you Martin Flynn (manager) for organising and county chairman Owen Fanning for the kind words of encouragement for the athletes.

Boston Scientific Half Marathon - Race Day!.

Thank you to everyone who has signed up so far to our race. There are currently just over 500 entrants with still time left to enter.

For locals, there will be some disruption around the town tomorrow morning between 9.30 and 12:00. Some roads in the town center will be closed between 10.30 and 12 - Market Street, Emmet Street, Richmond Road (All around by the post office and Garda station), and College Avenue and Dillon Street next to The Plaza. St Thomes’s Bridge down by Ferryhouse will be closed to traffic between 10:00 - 11.30.

Please respect the safety of our runners, stewards, Gardai, Motorbike Marshalls, Civil Defence and everyone that has helped make this race happen.

One of our goals with this route was to bring athletics to the center of Clonmel and we’d encourage as many as possible to come down to the finish line tomorrow at Kickham Plaza around 10.30 to support all of the runners and help make it a great day for everyone.

Numbers are not posted. They can be collected on either Saturday or Sunday in the hall close to the finish line - E91 K2E2.

Clonmel AC at European Athletics Championships 🇮🇪

Great to see the Heaney Family, and of course Albert, enjoying the athletics in Birmingham last week. A well deserved break before juvenile training kicks off again in the coming weeks.
