A question I often get asked...
My answer is simple, for who and for what?
This is where the process of training begins. Discovering what it is you ACTUALLY want/need from a training program.
What you enjoy, not what is popular right now but most importantly, what will work!!!
A program is for YOU and ONLY you, as an individual, you should be treated as one!
That's my philosophy anyway... copy and paste ain't my game!

Why I coach....
There is absolutely nothing more fulfilling to me than seeing someone do something they thought they couldn't.
Whether this be long term or short term, it fills my heart!
I don't mean body fat goals or things that we see regularly.
I mean seeing a woman climb in and out of a swimming pool on her own when weeks before she needed the help of 2 people her knees were so sore.
Helping someone become genuinely excited to exercise
Knowing a person has more confidence because we've worked together
Having a dyspraxic teen run through a speed ladder like a premier league footballer.
The list goes on and on and even typing those out, I feel my heart fill.... because I know I added value to their life.
I coach because I know through both exercise and my own life lessons and philosophies i can add value to the person I am working with.
Thank you to everyone for sharing my post, I really appreciate it.
I have done for years and will continue to help people through exercise.
Genuinely I have helped MANY people with MANY different circumstances.
You can be the next person.
I'll give some examples in time.

"I'm in my early 40's balancing work and family,I started with Austin back in May and was looking for some guidance with fitness training but got a lot more,Austin was always available to chat if I had any questions either with a call or texts,we had a facetime call every Friday to talk over how the week went with training and in general too,he wasn't afraid either to tell me where I went wrong or improve on certain things,I called him my training wife(nag nag) but he really did hit the mark with certain things that I didn't think were an issue in my head but boy they were,before Austin I used to train for 3/4 weeks then life gets in the way or laziness and stop then for months,now I have a structure and a love for what I'm doing,doing the right exercises that suit me and doing them properly,and going forward this is my life now,no stop starting.
With Austin there is a more of a personal touch to his guidance,he really wanted me to succeed and to enjoy it and he would be like a proud Dad when he knew I was buzzing after a good session
My journey with him was a learning curve on how to enjoy training,how to do it right and when to rest the body too."

It's time to change more lives!!!
Hi everyone.
I haven't been active here for awhile.
There is a multitude of reasons for this but I have decided to be totally honest on the main.
Fear - Fear of speaking the observations I believe to be true. I have conjured these opinions over 14 years working in this fitness "industry".
I have many conversations on a weekly basis about exercise and why people exercise and all the rest and I have no problem sharing my true opinion to individuals I know or sometimes people i have just met.
My true opinion on how exercise and health are marketed to people, the idealogies that go with it etc.
I have very strong opinions on this and how it is affecting people negatively... even though it is all marketed and offered as a very positive thing. This post could easily be a podcast if I really let it all go at once but I am going to be honest on one observation I believe to be true.
Many gyms, PTs, studios etc. Whether they realise it or not are profiting by exploiting peoples vulnerabilities and insecurities. Example, I have heard many times that people who sign up but don't show up are the foundation of many businesses in the industry.
Lets stop accepting mental suffering and negative self body talk in the pursuit of a "perfect" body.
If you heard someone speak to you about your body the way you do yourself you would be absolutely disgusted by it. LISTEN to yourself.
Can you believe its been nearly 3 weeks I've been morphine free and haven't put up any live videos of me off my head on it🤣
As an update though I can still back up what I said in those videos regarding the benefit to me that exercise has had on my recovery from my hip replacement. I am really recovering well... why? I am doing all the things required consistently.
I have said in my story to beware of offers and promotions this time of year, the "industry" knows when people feel vulnerable and look to exploit that now.
You enjoyed a good summer and feel "bad" for doing so now, driven by media and social media of course, you didn't actually do anything wrong. You lived your life, you CANNOT make up for that now.
What you can do though and I know this sounds so similar but to me the language we use and how we frame ourselves and our intentions are very important! You can take responsibility for the things you do next, I promise you it doesnt have to be a 6 week bootcamp with a detox and a colonoscopy for good measure no matter how many ads you see that try convince you.
I want to help you help yourself with exercise. It is 1000000% one of the best medicines, remedies amd privileges we have under our noses.

I think I've created enough tension.... I better tell you all😬
I have had bad pain in my right hip for about 15 years now and due to the work of my fantastic Doctor I am going in for a hip replacement next week.
There was nothing for me to do to prevent this as it is a structural problem in my hip.
I did persist over all this time and played soccer, ran, taught indoor cycling classes and much more but did suffer a lot each time I did, but that is the importance exercise has in my life because I would feel great after it regardless of my hip being painful. It has become much more intolerable over the past 2 years and I am so excited to get this done and recover so I can regain my level of activity WITHOUT PAIN.
So unfortunately I won't be running any get togethers for awhile as you can imagine.... I don't have a timeline for this.
In the meantime... if there is anything I can help someone with please do not be afraid to reach out to me and if I can help you I will.

I need to let anyone who may have not attended one of my get togethers and if you were thinking of coming tomorrow that it will not go ahead for a couple of weeks.
