There is no one size fits all. The guideline of 1.5-2L per day is a guideline. Context matters and an individualised approach is always required for fluid intake (and everything else). Can you tell I don’t work in absolutes 🙈

How much fluid do you consume in a day?

✨Walk and Talk Wednesday- Initial Appointments✨

A first appointment in pelvic health might feel intimidating but I do everything I can to make you feel comfortable and heard throughout your appointment.

The assessment will depend on the person who is sitting in front of me and will look different for every client. You are in the driving seat and I am hear to help guide you back to feeling better! If you have questions about the initial appointment drop me a DM or a comment ❤️

Leaking when you laugh, sneeze, run or exercise is one of the most common things I see in clinic. Sometimes it’s because pelvic floor is a little weaker, sometimes pelvic floor needs a little more reactivity or flexibility. Sometimes the clue is outside of the pelvic floor.

An individualised assessment basically allows us to figure what’s going on in your body and what does it need so we can tailor the treatment to you.

Remember don’t have to be good to start. You have to start to be good.

If you’re feeling the pressure of the New Year New Me, big goals, big moves- remember it all counts and starting small and starting slow is perfect. This goes for all types of exercise!

One of the biggest risks of injury is doing too much too soon, so don’t fall into the trap of starting with what you “should” be able to do or comparing yourself to others. Stay in your own lane and gradually progress over time to reduce your risk of injury and ensure you smash that end goal
