After a great start to the match play this morning he’s through to the semi final of the gross world one armed championships this afternoon!

Safe to say it’s been an unreal year of golf and these girls made it the best decision to join Lee Valley!

Presidents prize winner! 🏆

A crazy busy few weeks, I haven’t reported fully when it comes to the golf scene!

Last month when I played our presidents prize (Kilbrittain Golf Society) in Killarney, I came home with 55 points (🥳🥳🥳), (the handicap is different in society golf as it’s not played as often so it’s taking a little longer to come down!) today in Castlemartyr, I was gunning for beating my own record but came home with 54 points! Nevertheless, on a better handicap it shows I can still play to that standard whilst bringing the handicap down!

A first major win and another society win today makes for a great few days out!

And to top the week off again, I came home with the Day 2 Net win on Tuesday at the ladies Captains prize.

It goes to show regardless of what sport you’re playing, put in the time in the gym, put in the time on the field/course or court and the rewards will come!

So, excuse me while I celebrate with my bottle of wine before playing another 18 hole competition tomorrow! 🥳
