Silent Worker x IrishPF April Open 🎀

Bench: 145kg
Deadlift: 267.5kg (10kg PB)

Total: 642.5kg (30kg PB)

🥈 2nd place

Exactly one year since my last competition, and I couldn’t have asked for a better day.

Thank you to and for handling me and making the perfect calls.

The support in the crowd and the warmup room was unmatched and I can’t thank everyone who showed up to support enough.

came to the rescue with rehab for my pec when I hurt it a few weeks ago. Very happy to have been able to get within 5kg of my best given the circumstances.

was the perfect environment to prep for this one and all of my training partners pushed me towards this big PB.

Really proud of what I’ve been able to achieve in this past year. All down to having an amazing support system.

Open Nats QT hit but more work to be done. Onto the next one.

Today at 9pm Irish time, Map will return to the international platform at IPF Junior World Championships in Costa Rica 🇨🇷

Map put a huge shift in this prep on the back of Junior Nats in April where he put up a 690.5kg total on his first performance in the U83kg class.

Through the good sessions and the bad, Map has showed up and but 100% into his training. Couldn’t be prouder of his work ethic and ability to train through less than ideal conditions (night shift final boss 💀).

From myself and the whole team, we wish Map the best of strength on the platform.

Tune in via the livestream link on my story!

IPF World University Cup 2025 🇹🇷

What a week. Honoured to be a part of this team and to work with such amazing athletes across the competition.

Huge thanks to our Head Coach for everything he does for the whole team and to my fellow coaches for bringing the vibes to the warmup room and having all of the lifters feeling ready to execute.

It was amazing to have three of my own lifters at the competition. I got to witness all of the hard work these three put in during the prep, and having coached them all from their earliest days in powerlifting it was really a full circle moment to be there by their side at their first World level event. Couldn’t be prouder. I’ll be posting individual recaps for them all on the page.

The rest of the team had lifters I’ve coached internationally before and some new faces. They all smashed it and being a part of their performance was incredible. Can’t wait to see them all continue rising in the sport and competing at the highest level.

Thank you to everyone who came together to make this competition happen 🫶
