⚽️ Two away games in four days for our U12A team!

🔵 *Douglas Hall 2-1 U12A*

A hard-fought Division 1 clash. Despite going 2-0 down, the lads showed great resilience, with Tadhg Field finishing an excellent team move to pull one back with 10 minutes to go. We pushed for an equaliser right to the final whistle, but it wasn't to be. 👏

🔵 *Carrigaline A 0-0 U12A*

Another tight game, with Conor Brett unlucky to see his late free kick rattle the crossbar. A great effort from the lads, with goalkeeper Henry O'Dwyer and the defence securing a well-earned clean sheet. 🧤👏

Two tough away games, plenty of positives and great character shown by the team. 💪

A fine performance once again by the boys on a wet misty morning.
The boys were unlucky not to score in the first half with some fine play from midfield dominating the ball.

The game took a change after some yellow cards shown, which lead to a red just before halftime.

The boys with 10 never let up in the second half, continued to press and could have taken all 3 points if not for some resoulte defending from Douglas Hall.
A point shared.

*Cors Blue 3–3 Blarney*

Fantastic game to kick off the season for our girls, in a very competitive match against Blarney this Sunday afternoon! 👏

We started brightly and took the lead through some brilliant link up play. Captain Julie sprayed a fantastic pass across to Livia, who linked up with Erin and put a great ball into Lara, who calmly smashed home to put us ahead!

Blarney came back at us and found an equaliser with a good finish to make it 1–1 at half-time.

We came out strongly in the second half and regained the lead when a brilliantly delivered corner from Mia was bravely headed home by Eirebella!

We then extended our lead to 3–1 when Livia broke down the left, brilliantly wiggled her way through and finished nicely at the near post! ⚽🔥

With some tired legs setting in, Blarney kept pushing and pulled one back from a corner before grabbing an equaliser with the last kick of the game to earn a point.

A tough one to take after leading 3–1, but plenty of positives to take from a fantastic performance against a very competitive Blarney side.

A huge well done to Lily and Erin, who both put in fantastic performances on their debuts in the blue of Corinthians! 👏👏💙

We take the point and move on to the next game! 💪⚽

Cors U19s opened their league campaign with a 4–1 win at home to Mogeely. A strong first-half performance saw Cors lead 3–0 at the break, before Mogeely came right back into the game with sustained pressure in the second half. Cors weathered it and added a fourth with 15 minutes remaining, before Mogeely got a deserved consolation.

Even O’Donohue, Den-Blake Tiendioh and Jamie Murphy (2) on the scoresheet.

Our U12 Premier team kept their 100% winning record with a 4-1 win at home to Mallow Town.

A brilliant performance from the lads who created countless chances throughout only to be thwarted by an excellent Mallow Town keeper. Goals by Jayden Onakuse(2), Andi Berisha and Bodhi Lucey.

Corinthians emerged victorious after a physical encounter with Castleview today at Corinthians Park. After a scoreless first half, Cameron Rae opened the scoring from a neat cut back by Cian Shannon. Cian Shannon doubled the lead shortly afterwards with a low shot under the keeper. Castleview got back into the game with a header from a corner, but Cian Shannon restored Cors 2 goal lead by rounding the keeper after a headed flick on by Cameron Rae. Ben Santry made it 4 before Cameron Rae finished off the scoring on the final whistle with a fine finish into the corner following a long through ball by keeper Fionn Meaney.

U17 Premier Division
Corinthians 1 - Passage 3

Fantastic performance for our girls this afternoon against a very strong and well organised Passage side.

We started well and after a mazy run and incredible finish by Grace Horgan we took an early 1-0 lead. Chances on both sides came and went, but Passage clinically finished 2 of theirs to leave the game 1-2 at half time.

The 2nd half was nip and tuck, again with chances aplenty, but both keepers, and defences, had really fine games to keep the score at 1-2 until Passage secured the win with another fine finish late in the 2nd half.

Great physicality, movement, passing and teamwork on display for both sides, with plenty encouragement for the season ahead.

Many thanks to Passage for a great game and referee Jamie Buckley for his contribution in making it a great spectacle for the supporters.
