π‘ Meet Viktoriaπ a regualr here in catalyst, local to carrigaline, twenty something single mother of 1! We caught up with her for a chat and a giggle and she is certainly a gigglerπ

1. What is a personal best you are most proud of?
Iβm most proud of my consistency. Hitting personal records is great, but showing up week after week even on the tough days has been the biggest win for me.β°οΈ
2. β How long have you been wth Catalyst?
Iβve been a member for about a year, and itβs become a solid part of my weekly routine.π€
3. What do you like most about our gym community?
The atmosphere. Everyone is friendly and supportive! It feels like a place where you can really be yourself and not be judged π.
4. What is your weekly training schedule like?
I train 5 times a week. Even as a full time mom. Itβs all about discipline at the end of the day. And I lift weights and do cardio. πͺ
5. β What drives you to keep training when you dont feel motivated?
I focus on how good I feel afterwards. Training clears my head, boosts my confidence, and even on the toughest days I remind myself that even if I just get a little bit done, thatβs already good enough.
6. β What are you main goals for the next 6 months?
Keep building strength and improve my overall conditioning. I want to feel fitter, stronger, and more confident in my lifts!
7. β What is a gym myth you'd like to bust?
That you need to be fit before joining. The gym is where you get fit, everyone starts somewhere, and nobody is judging you!
8. Give us a fun fact about you!
I speak 3 languages! English, Spanish and Russian

Meet Aparnesh a 30 something hospital care assistant, father of two and fitness lover (and all round sound guy!)π
We caught up with him to get to know him a bit better and ask him about his fitness journey heres how it went β¬οΈβ¬οΈβ¬οΈ
How long have you been training in catalyst?
"Iβve been training since August, 2025 after a long gap of 3 years."
How do you stay disciplined?
"I try my best to stay disciplined. With a busy life of being a father of two daughters and full time job, it is tough to manage. And some weekend fun π» is fine I guess."
How do you stay consistent with work family and gym?
"I guess just stay focused with what you are doing. Have a goal in your head and stay on your path. Life is like a marathon so keep up the pace constant. And family is important so cherish every moment with them."
Is there anything you would change about your journey?
"I wish I could train more, eat better and get more rest for recovery."
What is your favourite equiptment at catalyst?
"It has to be Barbell π"
What is your fav body part to work/ exercise?
"Nothing in particular, but I I love compound exercises. So squats, bench and shoulder press, deadlifts and pull ups."
What advice would you give someone starting off π€
"Focus on basics, recover well, eat clean and stay natural, be consistent, thereβs too much on social media so be aware and keep your goals realistic."
Tell us an interesting fact about yourself!
"Im also a chef π¨βπ³ and I love to ride motorbikes π "

Lace up, show up, and let's hit the pavement! All paces welcome!
Here at catalyst we are all about community and we love to see people helping and motivating each other! So with the brighter mornings and grand stretch in the evening why not get some exersise outdoors! Whether your brand new to running or have been training for marathons we want you in our club!
We will run our from May 4th to June 7th! 5 weeks of progress and community π with a group 5k on june 7th!
In our club we will share tips, routes, playlists (with extra help for beginners) and anything run related!
For our seasoned runners there is a competition for the fastest km and for our beginners there will be a prize for the most progress made over 4 weeks! But dont worry we will explain all that goes on in
