Our Gala Awards night also gave us the opportunity to thank our sponsors for their most generous contribution during the year. Presentations were made by the sponsors to the winning clubs in each category. Thank you to all of our sponsors.

Last night saw the Muskerry Sports Star Awards Gala Event take place in Oriel House Hotel. There was a huge crowd there, all lovely people looking their best. Their was a great atmosphere there. Three teams of the year were announced and the overall Muskerry Sports Star of 2019 was revealed as Daniel Goulding. The team pics below along with the presentation to Daniel Goulding by Eileen O'Flynn of The Auld Triangle. Also in the pic of Daniels presentation is Pat Malone Chairman of Muskerry Board and Eire Og GAA Club, Marc Sheehan Vice Chairman of Cork County Board, Daniel, Eileen, Ella from Oriel House Hotel and William Buckley, Chairman of Awards Committee. Now the real work starts. Nominations are now being sought for our Muskerry Teams of the Year.
We are looking for nominations for our Junior Football and Hurling Team of the Year and this year its the Intermediates Football Team of the Year.
So for the Junior teams the player must have finished the year playing Junior and they must be an adult player, so no minors are eligible.
For the Intermediate team the player the cannot have played Senior and also no minors are eligible.

Teams will be announced on the 25th January 2020 at our Gala Black Tie Event in Oriel House Hotel.

Auld Triangle and Muskerry Monthly Awards are done and dusted. Time to look forward to our End of Year Gala Awards night.

And now to our Award Winner for October. Eire Ogs Daniel Goulding could not be overlooked after his performance in the Premier Intermediate Football Final. Once again Daniel led by example and turned in an outstanding performace. Daniel too brought a great crowd from Eire Og. Congrats Daniel and enjoy the celebrations. Best of Luck in the Munster campaign.

What a fantastic night last night at The Auld Triangle. Cloughduv and Verling families out in force to support Brian Verling receiving his September Award, Thanks as always to Kitty and crew for serving up delicious fare.
