Did you know there's a heated outdoor public pool in County Cork? Hear from Tom Howard, Chairman of Carrignavar Community Council, about how Cork County Council grants have helped Carrignavar Swimming Pool become a mainstay of the community. Cork County Council provides financial assistance for community & voluntary groups and local organisations through the Community Fund Scheme. The Scheme is administered by the 8 Municipal District Offices around County Cork.

Just a reminder that each session is 40 minutes, this leaves time for patrons to get out of the pool and get changed, volunteers and lifeguards to clear out the pool, clean up, perform testing, check settings etc. Thank you all for helping us with a quick turnaround between sessions. 😎😎

We are getting unprecedented enquiries due to the hot weather. Just a few notes - We are a volunteer organisation and do not have a booking system so early arrival is advisable, especially on hot days. You can pay cash or card as you go at the gate, each session is 40 mins. Changing rooms are available. Eircode T34 R122. See posts on page for latest opening hours and fees. With the good weather continuing, we've arranged to open the pool early (12 noon) on Monday 20th and Wednesday 22nd this week. Back to normal hours from Thursday 23rd July. ☀️☀️☀️
