Kaizen Judo Club Cork

A fantastic day with the Munster Teen Squad in Limerick.

47 attended for a morning of technique and randori, with an afternoon of paintballing and fun.

It was great to see such a strong turnout and to see the Munster judo community continuing to grow. 2026 saw a new club joining and more athletes getting involved. The strength of our sport comes from clubs working together to create opportunities for everyone.

As we come to the end of another competition season, it was a great opportunity to reflect on the progress made, celebrate friendships old and new, and enjoy some time together off the mat.

Judo is about more than results—it's about respect, teamwork, resilience, fun and the memories made along the way.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended and the coaches who have given their time, knowledge and support throughout the season.We look forward to seeing the continued growth of judo in Munster and to another exciting season ahead

A fantastic achievement to represent Munster based on their performances throughout the competition season.

A big shout-out also to Shoti and Jenna, who spent the day supporting the team from the matside. While there were no suitable team weight categories available for them on this occasion, their support, encouragement and team spirit were invaluable throughout the day.

The competition season may be over, but the journey continues over the summer.
