A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Summer Social at the Woolshed last Friday night! ☀️🏉🍻

It was fantastic to see so many players come together off the pitch for a brilliant evening.
From the delicious food to the laughs during Music Bingo, it was a great way to celebrate another fantastic summer of tag rugby!

A special thank you to Woolshed Cork for the fantastic food, great hospitality, and for hosting such a fun night.

Our Wednesday Social Summer League Finals brought an end to another fantastic summer of tag rugby! ☀️🏉

A massive thank you to all of our players, teams and referees. Your enthusiasm, commitment and sportsmanship are what make these leagues so special. Without you, none of this would be possible.

A special thank you also goes to Cork Constitution FC for the use of their excellent pitches and clubhouse throughout the summer. Your continued support is greatly appreciated.

When the sun comes out to play

Summer nights are made for Tag Rugby!

It's been great seeing teams and players making the most of the long evenings.

Next week, it's all to play for on Monday night as the final round of the league will decide the standings heading into Finals Week while Thursday's Finals fixtures are shaping up to feature some mouth-watering matchups.

Please note: Wednesday's Finals have been pushed out by one week as we say our final farewell to Gerritt next wednesday night.

Good luck to all teams as the race for the finals reaches its climax! 🏉☀️

It was with deep sadness that we learned of the sudden passing of Gerritt.

Gerritt was a familiar and much-loved figure around tag. He always wore a welcoming smile and had words of encouragement for everyone he met. He was never hesitant to help out when teams were short of players—so much so that he must have played with most teams over the years!

In recent weeks, he had also joined the ranks of referees, adding to the many ways he contributed to our community.

Our deepest condolences go to his family, friends, teammates, and all who knew him.

A book of condolences will be available in Cork Con tomorrow night and Thursday for anyone who would like to pay their respects.

May his soul rest in peace
