It is with deep sadness that the Club announces the passing of Olive Kenny. Olive served as our Child Welfare Officer and Designated Liaison Person for many years and fulfilled the roles with distinction. She was a valued and respected member of the Hurling Committee and her commitment to her roles was exemplary. Olive will be deeply missed by all her friends in the Club. Our deepest sympathies to her husband Paul, her children Alex, Jillian and Eoghan and all her family and friends.

May she rest in peace.

Tues. June 2nd. Red FM I.H.L. Blackrock 2 – 20 V 4 – 16 Watergrasshill

In a high-scoring game at Church Road on Tuesday evening our Intermediate Hurlers lost out to Watergrasshill by the narrow margin of 2 points.
Despite conceding 3 goals in the first half we still only trailed by 3 points at half time thanks to some excellent point scoring by our boys. The half time score read Blackrock 0 – 13, Watergrasshill 3 – 07. Our scorers in this half were,

In a late flurry we scored a point and with time running out, Peter Linehan scored a goal before the Ref blew full time leaving us trailing by 2 points 2 – 20 to 4 – 16.
