Another great match today in the league.. the great thing about this competition is the flexibility of when the matches can be played. So many singles matches played this week in a competitive environment… if your clubs not involved then get involved for phase 2 after Xmas - this will be a game changer for junior tennis in Cork and eventually Munster.

Great day for the first ever match in the French - Cork League’s between Douglas B and bishopstown B teams. They say if your good enough then your old enough. The beauty of this competition is appropriate matchplay regardless of age. This will be the premier team competition in Munster in a very short time if today’s matches are anything to go by. Well done to Douglas on the win against a fighting young bishopstown team. Brilliant singles matches and played in great spirits. Best of luck to everyone with their matches this week.
