A tremendous performance from our Junior Cup team yesterday at Monkstown Golf Club, overcoming a very strong Douglas side to progress to the next round.

It was a closely contested match throughout, with several matches going all the way to the 18th hole, highlighting the quality and determination shown by both teams.

Our sincere thanks to Douglas Golf Club for a sporting and highly competitive match. Congratulations to all of the Monkstown players, team managers on a great win.

Our Mixed Foursomes team came up against a strong team from Mahon Golf Club yesterday and, despite a spirited performance, were narrowly defeated.

Congratulations to Mahon Golf Club and best wishes to them in the next round.

Well played to all of our Monkstown players for their commitment and effort throughout the matches. A special thank you to team managers Hilary Harte and Mark O’Sullivan for their hard work and support.

The wildflowers are in full bloom, adding a splash of colour around the course and creating a beautiful setting for golf. We hope everyone enjoys the Bank Holiday weekend, whether you’re out on the fairways or simply soaking up the summer scenery.

Our Men’s Senior League team who came through a great contest against Cork G.C yesterday.

Congratulations to Rachel Hayes on winning Captain Emer Moran’s Captain’s Prize yesterday at Monkstown Golf Club.

A fantastic achievement and a wonderful performance on a special day in the club calendar. Very well played, Rachel, and congratulations on a superb win.
