It is with regret that we announce the loss of one of our treasured members this morning, Aidan Horgan. Though he never quite took to the sailing he still turned up each Sunday morning until family commitments and his own health prevented him from doing so. He was passionate about his family’s historical connection to Cork Model Yacht Club and loved to chat about it with passers-by. His presence at the Lough has been missed in recent years, his unique with and roguish charm. Aidan rest in peace!
