Road now open to the public.

The R-575 from Gortnabulliga Graveyard to Forge Cross/Main Road will be closed for 4 to 5 hours on Friday 15th of May to facilitate Road Resurfacing Works.
Please use Inches Road to come and go from Urhan.
An update will be issued when Road re opens.

If you enjoy art, or even just want to support a worthwhile cause, please do call in the college on April 30th and buy yourself an original piece of art at a great price. All moneys are going to Féile O’Sullivan for her current and future needs.

We would like to extend our deepest sympathy to Carmel, Catherine, Susan, Louise and the extended Sheehan family on the sad passing of Donal.

Donal was a wonderful neighbour and a friend to all. He will be deeply missed in our community.

What a wonderful turn out in Travara for our annual duck race! The weather shone on us and all the ducks were off with plenty help to get down the course. In the end there was a clear winning duck, congratulations to Gary Downing.
Delighted also for the great turn out for the Easter Egg hunt, and there was eggs for everyone.

Thank you to everyone for supporting this fundraiser as it enables us to insure the playground and changing rooms for the year.

Easter Sunday The Urhan Inn 🕺💃🎸🪗🎷🎤

Urhan Community Council are holding their annual Duck Race and Easter egg hunt this Easter Sunday at 12. Spot prizes on the day and suprise for the last duck across the finish line. Ducks are available to buy in the Urhan Inn, Eyeries Post Office, O Sullivans Foodstore and all committee members. Please support this fundraiser to ensure we can continue to insure our toilets/changing rooms and playground for all the community to use. Thank you 🐣

Last week we held our fundraising table quiz with all proceeds being donated to Féile O’Sullivan for her present and future needs.

On the night the questions were sent to Maureen O’Sullivan as each round occurred, so she and Féile could join in the fun of the night.

It was very close and a point was all that divided the winning teams in the end. Massive thank you to both teams who donated their prize money back for Féile.

Thank you to everyone for your support on the night, we had a great turn out and wonderful prizes donated for the raffle also, people are so generous and it would not be possible without your kind and giving natures.

We thank everyone for their continued support and we will have a presentation with Maureen and Féile once we have final tally as some people are still sharing donations.
