1K Classic – Committee Statement

Following ongoing monitoring of weather forecasts and conditions at Lough Rinn, the 1K Classic Organising Committee has confirmed that the event will proceed as planned this weekend, 19–20 September.

Safety remains the highest priority, with Committee, Umpires and Safety crews continuing to monitor conditions throughout the weekend and making real-time decisions as required.

Coaches, Club Children’s Officers (CCOs) and Designated Liaison Persons (DLPs) are invited to attend our online Safeguarding 1: Child Welfare & Protection Basic Awareness Workshop.

The three-hour workshop provides essential safeguarding awareness, with certification valid for three years.

There are 9 spaces remaining on the 22 September course. Once all 16 spaces are filled, registrations will move to a waiting list for the 29 September course.
