🏃‍♀️💪 What a way to spend a Sunday! 💯👌

Yesterday, some of our Frontrunners & Briskwalkers took on the 45th Echo Women’s Mini-Marathon right here in Cork! 🏃‍♀️🌈

From Centre Park Road, through the streets of Cork and all the way to the finish line, it was brilliant to see our members out there supporting each other, getting active and enjoying the atmosphere. ❤️

Whether you ran, walked, or jogged, you did it! 👏🎉

A huge well done to everyone who took part, and a big thank you to Cork Athletics and all the volunteers who made the event happen. 🙌

🍔 Time to refuel! 🍗

Next stop on our mystery tour was Hamlets, a lively gastro garden right in the heart of Kinsale, serving up some BBQ. 🔥

The crew settled in, the food arrived, drinks were poured. God bless Aperol. 🧡

A big thank you to the team at Hamlets for looking after our hungry runners and walkers! 💚

But lunch was only a pit stop…

Next up: a little bit of history, a lot of stone walls, and another clue to where the day was taking us… 🏰👀

⚓️ All aboard the Spirit of Kinsale! 🚤

The mystery tour went nautical on our first stop! 🌊

We set sail onto the beautiful waters of Kinsale Harbour, soaking up the views, the "sunshine" ☔, and the well stocked bar on board. 🍻

And, of course, our very own Captain was there to make sure the crew stayed on course! 🧑‍✈️

From the harbour to the Bandon River, there was plenty to see and even a lovely seal keeping an eye on us! 🦭

But the day was only getting started… 👀

🚌 Mysterious beginnings 🕵️

Bright and early, the crew boarded bus and headed off into the unknown as our very own chairperson, Kieran, led us onto our annual mystery tour. 👀

With plenty of laughs and one very suspicious-looking captain we made our way to our first port of call. 🧑‍✈️⚓️

What a week for Frontrunners Cork! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🌈

Sunday was massive for races! 🪇

🇬🇧 Huge shoutout to Zrinka, Vince, and Niall who headed over to London to take on The Big Half! 👏

💕 Meanwhile Kay, Victoria, Fiona, Jack, and Hayley stepped up and represented the club at the Very Pink Run! 💖

Saturday brought us back to our home base at the Marina Market for our regular run, chats, and post-run coffee. ☕

We also had an iconic Thursday night launching our new track sessions at UCC’s Sonia O’Sullivan Track! ⚡️

And to cap off a brilliant lineup, we kicked off the midweek action with a fantastic turnout for our Women’s+ Wednesday run. 💜

So proud of everyone showing up and bringing the best vibes to the club this week. 🥰

Pavement off, sand on! 🏖️

We traded our regular Cork running routes for the waves at gorgeous Inchydoney Beach for Beachfest 2026! 😎

Organised by Cork Sports Partnership to launch Cork Outdoors Week, the day was packed with surfing, beach games, and plenty of sea air. 🪸

Huge thanks to everyone from Frontrunners & Briskwalkers who came along to represent! 🏳️‍🌈💙

We really seas'd the day in Youghal! 🌊🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Huge congratulations to our crew who took on the Youghal Bay 10K and Half Marathon today! From the historic medieval streets to the coastal views along the Front Strand and Greenway, the energy out on the course was unreal. ⚡😁

Shoutout to everyone who smashed PBs and showed off their stunning Frontrunners kit in the jewel of East Cork! 🌈
