KINSALE GIRLS TRAIN WITH MUNSTER

Recently, a few of the Kinsale Sharks U12 girls enjoyed participating in an open training session with the Munster ladies rugby squad in Virgin Media Park.

The current interprovincial champs put our girls through their paces with some games/drills and afterwards offered a bit of advice on their rugby. Munster ladies begin the defence of the Inter Pro series on August 8th versus Leinster in Virgin Media Park at 2:30pm. Tickets available on Ticketmaster.

Kinsale Sharks Girls underage Rugby returns to Snugmore on Saturday morning September 5th. New players always welcome to come try out Rugby in Kinsale. Our girls section is growing year on year, however we are always looking for new players to come and join us.

Munster Rugby summer camps are coming to Kinsale RFC from Mon, July 27 to Fri, July 31 for boys and girls aged 6 to 12 years old.

The camp takes place over one week at our Kinsale rugby club grounds in Snugmore between 9:30am and 1:00pm, run by qualified and vetted Munster coaches. The focus is on fun and participation.

The cost is €90 per child. Additional children from the same family can attend for the discounted rate of €80 per child.

Each participant will receive an official Summer Camp Pack comprising an Adidas Summer Camp T-Shirt, Draw-String Bag, Mouth Guard, Co-branded ball, Certificate and a Free HelloFresh box for parents.

Kinsale RFC was well represented in today's U17s Munster match v. EIRA in Fethard.

Sophie McCarthy and Aine Dinneen were starters and played in sweltering heat securing a 45 -5 win!!

This result aided by two superb tries from Aine Dinneen!

Well done Ladies!

Congratulations to club member David Harrington who WON the club lotto last Thursday night!

David takes home €12500 to enjoy this summer. He was presented with his cheque at the club today, along with his son Ryan, by Club President Paul McCarthy, and co-captain Timmy Lynch.

Dave has been a great supporter of the club over the years, and his son Ryan is a member of the U16 boys squad.

Thank you to people like Dave and his family, and the many more play our club lotto, for their continued support. It ensures we keep kids and adults playing the sport they love 🥰🥰

It’s been a remarkable season for adult rugby at Kinsale, while our underage and girls teams continue to grow.

After our Men’s Firsts secured promotion and won the Challenge Shield, and our Men’s Seconds had a strong season featuring in a cup final - there’s a lot to celebrate.

The club captains would like to invite all members, friends, supporters, allickadoos and the wider community to a great night of food, drink and music on Friday, June 12 in Kinsale Hotel & Spa.
