Huge thank you to and for their incredible support and recognition as we signed the Local Green Deal today along with 11 other clubs and businesses
We are absolutely thrilled to have transformed Neptune Stadium into a sustainable, energy-efficient hub for our members and the basketball community, and with Solar PV and EV Chargers due to be installed in the coming months, Neptune Stadium is officially going green!
From reducing our carbon footprint to creating a building that is Energy efficient enabling the future for the next generation of athletes and patrons, this partnership is a massive win for both the club and the city. Thank you to the many Government agencies and club partnerships for their help and support to get us to this gold standard of modern energy efficiency, .sheehan.9237 .tonyfitzgerald

Neptune Basketball Club are delighted to welcome Sean McCarthy back to Neptune Stadium for the upcoming season πŸ”±πŸ’™πŸ€

A lifelong Neptune player, Sean returns home after spending recent years developing his game in both America and Iceland. Standing at 6’6”, Sean is a versatile forward/guard who brings experience, energy and leadership back to the club where his basketball journey began.

Sean competed at NCAA level in the United States with Felician University and Saint Anselm College, while also representing Ireland at underage international level throughout his career.

Having grown through the Neptune system from underage all the way through, it is fantastic to see one of our own back in blue and white once again.

Welcome home, Sean. We’re excited to have you back for the season ahead πŸ’™πŸ€

Thank you to everyone who took part in the Golf Classic last weekend and helped make it such a great success. It was wonderful to see so many people come together and enjoy the day.

A special thank you to all of our sponsors for your generous support, which played a huge part in making the event possible. A sincere thanks also to Kevin and Jason for all of their hard work and dedication in organising the event - your efforts behind the scenes are greatly appreciated.

Finally, well done and congratulations to all of our winners. We hope everyone enjoyed the day and we look forward to seeing you all again at future events πŸ‘

Neptune Basketball Club are delighted to announce Adam Drummond as our new Head Coach.

Adam has been part of the Neptune family since he was a young child, growing through the club as both a player and leader. A proud Neptune man, he continues to inspire through his involvement with Irish Wheelchair Basketball, representing Ireland internationally and showing incredible resilience, determination and passion for the game.

Over the past number of years, Adam has built strong coaching experience across multiple levels of basketball, coaching within Neptune’s underage structure, BIDL and U20 programmes, while also gaining valuable experience working alongside the UCD Marian Super League programme during his time completing his Masters in Dublin.

His understanding of player development, high-performance environments and Neptune’s culture make this an exciting appointment for the club.

Adam brings energy, professionalism and ambition to the role, alongside a lifelong commitment to Neptune Basketball Club and its future.

β€œI’m incredibly proud to become Head Coach of the club that has always been home to me. Neptune means so much to me and I’m ready to give everything to this role. I want us to build a culture based on hard work, togetherness, pride and representing this club the right way every single day.”
