We’re delighted to announce the latest additions to Craig Hurley’s management team ahead of the 2026 season.

Eric O’Driscoll joins from Cork City as Assistant Manager, while Alan O’Flynn and Liam Hopkins come in as coaches. Stephen Moynihan joins as Goalkeeper Coach, with Liam O’Connor taking on the role of Strength & Conditioning Coach.

The club is excited to welcome such a wealth of experience and knowledge to the management team as preparations continue for the new season.

We’re delighted to welcome John Fitzgerald, Jake Courtney and Alex Walsh to St. Mary’s AFC ahead of the 2026 season 👀

John joins the Saints from Midleton after playing a key role in their Keane Cup and Beamish Cup successes last season. Having come through the underage ranks at Cobh Ramblers, John is a tricky attacking player with an eye for goal and will add plenty of quality to our forward line.

Jake arrives from Mahon following their league-winning campaign. A powerful forward with a proven goalscoring record wherever he’s played, Jake may still be young but already boasts an impressive CV, including three league titles and two Intermediate Cups. He brings a real winning mentality to the squad.

Alex makes the move from Avondale after gaining valuable underage League of Ireland experience with Cobh Ramblers. A talented ball-playing midfielder with endless energy, Alex is hungry to make his mark and arrives with plenty of potential and a point to prove.

Our hugely successful girl girls u15/16 teams are looking for a GOAL KEEPER. A vita part of the team. If you want to play at a high level with the best group of girls. Please get in touch.

Another four familiar faces are back for the 2026 season as Conor Nolan, Robert Rourke, Sean Lennon and Dylan Doherty all return to the Saints.

Conor and Robert are both back after missing much of last season through injury, giving the squad a huge boost. Robert is a strong, commanding defender with an excellent range of passing, while Conor is a versatile attacker who is never afraid to have a go from distance.

Sean returns after an outstanding first season with the club, finishing as our Senior Team Golden Boot winner despite missing a significant part of the campaign through injury. He’ll be hoping to pick up where he left off this season.

Dylan is back for his third season in the black and white. His relentless work rate and ability to cause problems for defenders make him a valuable asset to the squad.

It’s fantastic to have all four lads back as we continue to build for the season ahead 💪
