💚❤️ Where do you even start? ❤️💚
Today belonged to the Mothers & Others.
The amount of hard work, commitment and craic that goes into this group week after week often goes unnoticed, but today they got the reward they deserved. This was their championship, their day, and they grabbed it with both hands.
Without playing a competitive league, these ladies lined out and took on four teams… and came out Champions.
The standing ovation at the end said it all. It wasn’t just for the results on the field, it was for everything these women bring to Doneraile GAA. They are much more than our Mothers & Others team. They are volunteers, supporters, fundraisers, organisers, mentors and friends. They are part of the backbone of this fantastic club.
Every one of you should be incredibly proud of what you achieved today. The smiles, the determination, the teamwork and the pride in yer jersey were there for everyone to see.
Now, there is only one thing left to do…
The celebrations continue later in Eily’s Bar, so make sure to get a round in for these champions. They have earned every single bit of it.
Congratulations ladies. A special day, a special group, and champions that the whole club can be proud of.
