💫 Pole Inverts & Spins | 3-week course 💫
Spins and inverts are honestly the 🍞bread and 🧈butter of pole.
They show up in almost every combo, and when you get them right — everything feels smoother, stronger, and so much more fun. ✨
The thing is… if your INVERT technique isn’t there yet, it can feel like you’re 😮💨 stuck at a wall. Progress slows down, and frustration sneaks in.
And with ✅️ SPINS — when they’re done the right way, they unlock flow, variety, and help prevent injuries down the line. Not to mention that amazing feeling of flight, grace, and speed 🦋
That’s why this little 3-week course is so special. We’ll go through spins and inverts step by step, and we’ll tailor combos to your level — so it’s never “too much,” but also never boring. You’ll get those “omg I did it!” moments while building solid technique you can rely on.
🗓 Starts Saturday, September 6
🕙 10:10am
📍 Firkin Crane Theatre, Cork City
💶 €39 (loyalty & bundle discounts available)
This is also the last course with Ania this year before we switch to drop-ins and workshops — so if you’ve been meaning to work on these foundations properly, now is the time. 💙🫶

Our final round of Pole Beginners | Zero2Hero | 1.0 starts on Wednesday, September 10 at 7.10pm, and we’re so excited to welcome a new group of complete beginners.

🤔💭 Who’s more fluent — the one who knows 30,000 words, or the one who can express anything beautifully with just 10,000?
The answer, as always, lies somewhere ⚖️ in between, but mastery tends to have the upper hand.
🔤Think of someone learning a language. One person knows thousands of words but can only form basic sentences. Another has a smaller vocabulary, yet speaks with depth, confidence, and flow.
Who’s made more meaningful progress?
✅️ It’s the same in pole dance.
Yes — it’s important to expand your movement vocabulary. But without refining how you move — the quality, control, and technique behind each element — you’ll eventually hit a plateau.
🔄 Things start to feel repetitive.
You might think: "Maybe I’ve reached my limit.”🥺
But often, it’s not about needing more moves — it’s about gaining more mastery.
🌟 Your body might not yet be ready for Rainbow Marchenko or Phoenix — but not because you can’t. Simply because there’s still groundwork to be done.
And that foundation looks like:
✔️Flexibility
✔️Joint mobility
✔️Strength
✔️Balance
✔️Clean, efficient technique
🛸The higher you go, the more precision is needed.
I’ve been there — stuck on that plateau, thinking more tricks would push me forward. But what I needed was to slow down and build my strength, clean my technique, and reconnect with how I moved.
✨ 🥰 So here’s your gentle reminder (and a bit of inspiration) to reflect and see where are you at now.

☀️🌊With in-person classes on a little summer break, it’s a great opportunity to shift focus — work on your movement quality, refine what you already know, and upgrade your body’s capabilities without using the pole as a crutch.
To explore this more, 🍬Taster sessions are available:
🧘♀️- Stretching & Conditioning
Fri, July 11 @ 6:00pm
👠 - Off-Pole Heels Choreography
Tue, July 15 @ 7:15pm
Let’s use this time to strengthen the roots — so you can rise even higher when you return to the pole. 💫

🌊☀️ IS TAKING A BREAK = GIVING UP?
No, it is not, unless we are talking about Instagram algoriths, apparently.🤪😅🙈
Taking a break is healthy, even from the things we like most.
It is taking a step back to see where you've come so far, think what more do you want, recalibrate, ask yourself what works for you now and what needs to change, break the routine, reignite passion for that thing or, possibly, move on to something else.
✨️ A break is a pause, not a stop.
Also, a break may mean not to stop doing something completely, but to do it differently for a short period of time.
🫧 For pole dance, it could be:
▪︎ Trying another type of dance or pole dance style
▪︎ Focusing on something that wasn't on your radar for a while, e.g. movement quality or flexibility or floorwork
▪︎ Do a photoshoot
▪︎ Perform at a showcase,
▪︎ Attend classes and workshops in different studios
.. or anything else you feel like doing.
It will all benefit you and your progress, stay aligned with what you need and want.
🏎 ✨️So take a pause to give yourself a boost.

For the whole month of June, we've truly stepped away from our classes. Instagram algorithms may not be happy about it 🙈, yet it was needed to refocus 🎯and recharge 🪷 to bring even more this year.
We still have two months until 🧚♀️ in person classes resume, so we've prepared online classes and offline materials to get most from this summer. More info coming soon... ❤️🫶
Lots of love! ❣️💫

The ONE & ONLY answer possible: NO, it is NOT OVERRATED! Fullstop 💯👈
❓️Do you agree? YES (👍) or NO (👎)
🤪 Or we are alone in our madness and the crusade for clean and sleek lines in pole dance?
There are not many things that we have such strong 🪨 position on, yet on this matter, we are absolutely adamant.
😣🙈 Regardless of the experience level, strength, flexibility, and complexity of the movement, it will look unfinished and unpolished.
It doesn't matter whether the element is performed by a beginner or professional; if it is a simple ✨️Pole Seat or 🌈Rainbow Marchenko, it will look and feel different.
❗️The most important thing is that the habit of engaging our feet and legs is built from DAY ONE and doesn't require any special skills or experience.
🌿✨️ Once it is a habit, it will stay with you, adding elegance to your Pole moves and body movements in everyday life. 🌳Not even to mention, better performance and injury prevention.
😆😅 So when one hears us shouting in the class for the 100500 time: "Point your toes!" or "Engage your legs, knees straight!", it comes from a place of ❤️ love... 😁🥰

“I want to try pole, but my arms 🙈 aren't strong enough..."
😅 Oh honey, we’ve all been there.
But here’s the plot twist...💥 It’s not about the arms – it’s ALL about the core!
🏆Your abs are the real MVPs in pole dance.
They lift, hold, spin, and sass 💁♀️ while your arms cheer them on.
So don’t wait for biceps of steel. Start now, and your core will thank you later! 💪✨
