Last sunday 5 of our black belts competed in the Scion Championships in Cork organised by Master Corkery.

Master Flaherty and Mrs Galinski travelled to Belgium to take part in the ITF International Instructors Course (IIC) under the guidance of GM Nicholls endorsed by ITF President Choi Jung Hwa took place in Belgium on September 28th 2024. This event consisted of 60 black belts, ranging from 1st to 9th degree from 11 different countries from across Europe with some from further afield including Venezuela.

This course provided an exceptional opportunity for instructors to immerse themselves in advanced Taekwon-Do techniques and philosophies. Attendees explored critical components such as the training secrets—essential skills that underpin effective practice—and the theory of power, which enhances performance through applied knowledge.

Moreover, the main focus was on all 24 tuls with an in-depth questions and answers session on each. This IIC cultivated a collaborative atmosphere where practitioners exchanged insights and experiences, enriching their understanding and fostering unity among the ITF Taekwon-Do community within Europe.

With gratitude and thanks to Belgium-ITF for hosting this successful event on behalf of the ITF.

Our students went to Cork last saturday to train with and learn from GM Trevor Nicholls from the UK.

It was a great session with other Masters & Instructors from Ireland & Germany.

We would like to thank GM Nicholls for the training and TKD Alliance for organising the event!

Ms Galinski travelled to Germany to take part in the Master Class led by GM Nicholls. This session was assisted by Master Glen Horan & Master Laurie Cornwall.

Masters from Germany and the Netherlands were also present.

Thanks to GM Nicholls & German ITF for organising a great seminar.
