Well done to our very young 12 junior sailors sailing in the Marconi Cup today, in a windy Glandore harbour. Probably the youngest team in the competition, they did SHSC proud. Thank you to Glandore Harbour Yacht Club for hosting the event, and looking after us all so well🙏

With just over a week to go until Quintas Capital Calves Week 2026. It's a good time to introduce our new event sponsors.
We spoke to Kevin MacSweeney, Quintas Capital's Head of Managed Equity about how the sponsorship came about.

**Race Cancelled**
Unfortunately due to the unfavorable forecast for this Saturday we have had to cancel the planned 3 Sq Miles Cup and BBQ.
Hopefully we will be able to re-organise it for later in the season.
Cape Clear Island Distillery

This Saturday the 25th of July sees the 4th annual 3 Sq Miles Cup sponsored by Cape Clear Island Distillery 🏆 An inter club race where boats from the 3 Mizen sailing clubs, Baltimore Sailing Club, Schull Harbour Sailing Club and Crookhaven Harbour Sailing Club come together and race to the magic Cape Clear Island. It's followed by a family friendly BBQ. Fingers crossed the sun stays shining 🌞🤞🏻.
Prize giving for the Colla Clipper 🏆 in a very sunny Buckley's field, on a wonderfully beautiful day in Schull Harbour. 🌞⛵

⛵️ Women at the Helm – Sailing in Honour of Angela Nelson ⛵️
What a fantastic morning on the water for our junior sailors and our Women at the Helm event, held in honour of Angela Nelson.
A huge thank you to Schull Watersports and Angela’s daughter Joanna for kindly sponsoring the prizes.
Congratulations to everyone who took part. We hope everyone had a fun and memorable morning on the water.
