Its extremely sad to report the death of Micheal O'Leary who passed away in Marymount Hospice on Friday afternoon.
Micheal will be forever
remembered when on 26th February 1978 he scored two goals in Avondales 3-1 FAI Intermediate Cup final win over AlB at a packed St Coleman's Park Cobh.
The very popular Micheal was undoubtedly Avondales greatest ever number 10 and was regularly seen at the Avondale academy with his granson Joey.
Our deepest sympathy to his wife Norma his daughter Michelle his brothers Pat, and Dermot and sister Helen and to his very many friends.
