Our u13 Team 2 finished their 2nd league round with a narrow loss to Blarney in the semi final of our group. The lads showed great skill and effort in clawing back and early deficit. They’ve continued to improve throughout the year. A big thank you to the u12s who have helped out whenever asked throughout the year.

U11 Hurling
WGH 3-7 Cobh 1-5
A super contest today against Cobh saw our U11 lads come out on top against a deremined Cobh side. A solid first half display saw us ahead against Cobh who would not let up. After 3 unanswered points at the start of the second half WGH pushed back with some great blocking and well taken scores to get over the line in a very sporting game. Well done to all the lads 💪

Douglas 2-13
No luck this evening at home for our 2nd u16 team in the league semi final in a good even game of hurling . We just couldn’t get our noses in front to get the win after a better performance in the second half when we worked harder and got more scores on the board .
We ran out of time unfortunately to get a winner ,
Thanks to douglas for a good game and to the players for giving it their all !

Well done to our Junior C team, who secured a hard-fought 3-18 to 3-14 victory over Carrigtwohill to book their place in the quarter-final.

Goals from Ken Spriggs, Cillian Roche and Don O’Riordan proved pivotal in an excellent all-round team performance, with every player contributing to a deserved win.

A fantastic result and a great effort from everyone involved. 👏💪
