U12 Team2 concluded the grading phase with thrir best performance against Youghal this morning in WGH. Some excellent scores and huge work rate made it a close game and they never gave up to the end.

Our U14s welcomed Aghada for Round 2 of the Hurling Championship on a beautiful evening for hurling and a fantastic playing surface.

We are very lucky with this group of players. As mentors, we can stand on the line and hardly have to say a word, because they go out and work tirelessly for the red jersey every time they cross the white line.

Their work ethic, determination and desire were a pleasure to watch. While there is still plenty of improvement to come in our hurling, the attitude and commitment shown by the boys is something we are very proud of.

A huge thanks to everyone who has the pitch in such excellent condition. It doesn’t go unnoticed and provides a great environment for our players to develop and enjoy their hurling.

Finally, thanks to Mark Foley for giving up his Friday evening to operate the scoreboard.
