At last the weather gods played ball and been in our favor.
Great weather for cycling near and far.
Congratulations to our club members in completing the epic Amstel Gold sportive race in the Netherlands. Great weekend by the looks of it 👌
Bank on Eire green shores. We had Saturday and Sunday rides. Loads of Kms and mtrs elevation gained not to mention coffee and cakes consumed. We enjoyed it all. Let's hope this weather continues into near future.

The calm after the storm, well kind of.
Yesterday we had some damaging gusts and heavy showers today we had a lovely spring day for our clubs Easter sunday rideout.
Great numbers gathered and headed north towards Dunmanmway and onto Copeen and back to Centra Enniskeane for a well earned coffee stop. Then onwards to Ballinascarthy, Timoleague and back to Clonakilty.
Rás Mumhan continued on today at an alarming fast pace.
Todays stage started in Millstreet and 119k and 1537mtrs later finished at the landmark Kerrymans Table. Weather was quiet mixed for the stage heavy hail showers followed by lovely sprin sunshine.
Liam Crowley had a great race today and worked very hard at the front of the race but unfortunately lost some time towards the end. Today he finished 25 O/A and 9th in GC. Tomorrow is another day and the last day of the race.

Looking at the profile of stage 2 "queen stage" of Rás Mumhan it looked hard …very hard.
Now add in cold rain and severe strong southwestly winds from the getgo.
Climbing was on todays menu and loads of it.
Huge congratulations to all that finished todays stage especially Liam Crowley who finished todays stage in 10th O/A and 2nd in GC.
2 more fantastic stages ahead. Stay tuned 😃
