HUNGARIAN SAILOR JONATAN VANDAI IS THE WORLD CHAMPION, crowned in Dublin Bay this afternoon 🔥
Finn Lynch had a very strong two races today, finishing in 8th place overall after a 6th place in race one and a 3rd place in race two of the Medal Series Races today.
After an incredible week of sailing, we are very proud of all six Irish sailors and the hard work they brought to this competition 🇮🇪
Only one week to go now until we do it all again for the ILCA Women’s World Championships…

FINN LYNCH HAS QUALIFIED for the Medal Series at the ILCA World Championships tomorrow 🔥
Finn Lynch got a 6th place in the first race today and 2nd place in the second race, qualifying him within the top 10 boats from the Gold Fleet to compete for the title of ILCA Men’s World Champion in Dublin Bay.

DAY FOUR at the ILCA World Championships and Ewan McMahon is continuing to rise through the Gold Fleet amongst the top sailors in the world 🇮🇪
After a strong day of racing for Ewan, he has risen from 37th to 33rd in this tight fleet. Finn Lynch now sits 13th overall, after a tough day on the bay💥
In the Bronze Fleet, development sailor Fiachra McDonnell is in 12th place and Bobby Driscoll is holding strong in 32nd amongst the best sailors in the world 🇮🇪

Ireland's Finn Lynch has moved to second place following the opening day of Gold Fleet racing at the ILCA 7 Men's World Championship in Dún Laoghaire.

FINN LYNCH IS RIGHT IN FIGHT after day three at the ILCA 7 World Championships
After the first day of Gold Fleet racing on Dublin Bay, Finn sits second overall, just two points off the lead. It was another tough day of Irish weather with shifting winds and swell which proved testing for the world’s best sailors 💥
Ewan McMahon continued his climb up the Gold Fleet standings, while Development sailors Fiachra McDonnell and Bobby Driscoll gained more valuable experience in their respective fleets 🇮🇪
