There’s a really important campaign beginning under the leadership of STEP UP for DANCE

Basically, the aim is to have dance in Ireland receive the same recognition as Sports and The Arts.

At the moment, we receive no funding, no sponsorship, no national recognition when we compete on global stages and there is no one governing body to support dance schools in Ireland.

Like everything, it will take time and momentum to change but the first step is to follow this page and show the powers that be that as dance parents, this is something that you are taking seriously!

Two weeks ago we were treated to the most fabulous night out, surrounded by family and friends, all gathered with one purpose in mind… Celebrating Mack and her incredible wins 🥳

When Mack won the World Championship this year, it sealed the deal for her daddy Charlie that there would be a party and a party there was 😂🥳

Mack has won 11 championship titles in the last 5 years, and adding World Champion to her list was a moment certainly worth celebrating and we had the most memorable night 😍😍

Calling all Toddle Dancers & Beginners 🥰

Did you know we offer FIVE classes every week in our Donegal Town studio especially for our youngest dancers?

Our Toddle Dance classes for ages 3–5 and Beginners classes for ages 5+ are designed to introduce children to Irish dancing in a fun, age and stage appropriate way.

Yes, we’re teaching the building blocks of Irish dance, but at this age, there’s so much more happening too 🤩😍

Because for us, creating happy little dancers who love coming to class comes first. The dancing grows from there 😍

Each week your little dancer is learning
To come into class independently.
To listen and follow along.
To make new friends.
To take turns and be part of a group.
To build confidence in themselves.

And, most importantly, to discover how much fun learning to dance can be. 💕

We’re back in action on Friday 3rd 💕

September is bringing a lot of change to my own life, and it has me thinking about all the little people stepping into new adventures too.

Starting big school, moving to secondary school, meeting a new teacher or simply adjusting to a different classroom can bring excitement, nerves and plenty of anxious little tummies.

As our dancers return this September, we’ll be especially mindful of that. Dance class can be a familiar place in the middle of so much change. A place to see friendly faces, move their bodies, have fun and feel like themselves again.

We’ll be keeping an extra eye on every little dancer who comes through our doors and making sure they know that, whatever else may be changing, they still have a place where they belong 💕
