Pre-Season Tournament U16 girls
A great day of basketball for our U16 girls, with three games played and plenty of close, competitive action throughout! First up was Belfast Phoenix, in a point-for-point battle that went right down to the final seconds. Next, the girls put in another strong performance against Carrick Cruisers, getting off to a great start and building a good lead before Carrick fought back to take the win. The final game of the day was against Belfast Star, where the girls continued to work hard, show great determination and play some really excellent basketball.
Although the girls didn’t come away with a win on the day, there were plenty of positives, lots of learning opportunities and some fantastic basketball on display. A great day was had by all, with a brilliant atmosphere throughout!
A huge thank you to everyone who helped out on the day and to all those who came along to support the girls during the matches. Your support is greatly appreciated!
