Greencastle Regatta Festival

02/10/2026

Meeting at 8pm Tonight. If you have an interest in the future of the regatta, we ask that you attend tonight.

⚠️ EXTRAORDINARY GENERAL MEETING (EGM) ⚠️

Unfortunately, following last week's AGM, we were unable to form a new committee due to a lack of members stepping forward.

To give the Greencastle Regatta & Festival the best possible chance of continuing into the future, an EGM will be held:

📅 Friday 2nd October
🕗 8:00pm
📍 Greencastle Community Centre

The Regatta & Festival has been at the heart of our community for generations, but its future depends on people being willing to get involved.

If you think you could help in any way, whether by joining the committee, assisting with specific events, fundraising, sponsorship, logistics, or volunteering throughout the year, please come along.

No matter how much or how little time you can offer, your support could make a real difference.

Our Community. Our Festival. Our Future.

💚 We Need You! 💚

A huge congratulations to Moville Celtic on winning the Jim & James Cup Final after a closely fought and entertaining match against Redcastle United.

Moville ran out 3 - 1 Winners on the Day.

Both teams gave everything on the pitch and showcased the great talent and sporting spirit that makes this competition so special.

👏 A sincere thank you to our match officials George, Terence and John Joe for their excellent work officiating the game.

🏟️ A big thank you to Greencastle Football Club for the use of their fantastic facilities and for helping to host the final.

🎉 Thanks also to The Seán Tí for hosting the post-match celebrations and providing a great venue for everyone to come together after the game.

Finally, thank you to all the players, supporters, volunteers and organisers who helped make this year's James & Jim Cup such a success. The rivalry on the pitch was matched by friendship and community spirit off it.

Well done to everyone involved, and once again congratulations to Moville Celtic, 2026 James & Jim Cup Champions! 🏆💙⚽
